The 17+ hour drive from the flatlands of Minnesota to Crested Butte has rewarded us with spectacular views and much needed mountain riding. There are so many choices of trails that it is hard to decide which ones to do.
So far we have ridden "Snodgrass" and the classic "401 Trail". Tuesday we plan on riding "Deer Creek", "Upper Loop" and "Upper Upper Loop". Wednesday we will move over one valley and ride "Reno/Flag/Bear/Deadman's Gulch". Finally, Thursday before we leave will bring us yet another valley closer to home (Taylors Valley) to ride "Doctors Park" before heading home.
The riding is making me tired and I will try to provide a longer update tomorrow, so I will leave you with some pictures of our trip so far.
